Letting just the hint of light through the cracks to shine. Digging through a personal wreckage. The bright side, my sister and I who grew up hating each other are closer than I’d ever imagine because we had to stick to each other to get through the choppy waters. I paint about my life because silence doesn’t protect us. Art is how I cast light into those dark corners and connect with others who’ve been there too.
